Jean Guide- What You Need to Know

Jeans are a popular trend and are still rising after many years. Everyone has at least one pair of jeans. In this post I hope to share the tips of picking the right pair of jeans.

1. What kind of jeans are people your age wearing? I know that 10-14 year olds are wearing Old Navy Jeans, Abercrombie Jeans, Hollister Jeans, AE jeans, Aeropostale Jeans, etc. Look at what other people wearing and think if you want those kind of jeans.
2. Look at the back pocket of the jeans you wish to buy. Old Navy Jeans usually don't have a back pocket design. Other jean companies have different back pockets. Decide whether or not you want a back pocket design. My favorite design is Abercrombie's, because it really is simple but casual. Look on the websites to see what kind of designs are available.
3. Bargain doesn't meen durable. Say you find a pair of jeans for $8. Okay, so it's not your color and it comes in a size smaller than you wear right now. But it's the last one on the rack and you need a pair of jeans. As I said before, bargain doesn't mean durable. I'd rather pay $30 for a pair of jeans in the color I want and the size I want. There also is a reason why the pair of jeans are $8. Maybe someone returned it in the previous weeks, or maybe it was damaged. Always look out for factors like that.
4. Last, I will show you a quick guide on how you know which type of jeans fit best for you. Here it is:

Are You Tall? Go for a boot cut style of jeans. They fit perfectly with your thighs and give a clean look when it boots out. It really looks great with tall people. Pair boot cut jeans with actual boots to match the theme of what you're going for.
Are You Curvy? Go for jeggings. Jeggings will outline the rims of your curves. They show every curve you've got! Pair jeggings with simple black flats to tone down the outfit.
Are You Petite? Go for skinny jeans. Skinny Jeans are perfect for petites. They give you a slim fit that makes you look stylish! Pair skinny jeans with any kind of shoe.

Now I'm going to state some links of where I like to get my jeans and what kind of jeans you can get for your budget.

What I'm Wearing to Church

Even if you don't go to church you can still learn from this post!
If you have a different religion but have a ceremony/meeting/gathering to attend to this will introduce the same idea. Let me start off by saying my church is a formal/casual area. It's more towards the formal side but definitely not too formal. So let's get started!
Hair- I love to straighten my hair for church. It gives it a clean, simple look. Change it up a bit and do a half up/half down look.
Dress- Dresses are awesome, in my opinion. Try wearing a pastel dress that is smooth and not too frilly. If it's cold, bundle up with a light beige cardigan. Light beige reflects off most pastel colors.
Shoes- Flats are always perfect for church. Start by trying simple black flats. They outline the dress and it gives it a bold touch.
Accesories- Wear one necklace instead of your usual three. For earrings wear studs, of any color that you think would reflect your image. I would stay away from bracelets but if you have a bracelet that you've been dieing to wear, go for it!

That's all the time I have for. I don't do makeup but you can watch some makeup tutorials on Youtube. In my next post I hope to share what beauty channels you can watch on Youtube.

Fashion Tips and More.

Fashion Advice of the Week-
Don't be afraid to change your style a bit. You can start by looking at other people's styles and adding your personal touch to it.

Fashion Tips-
1. Plan your outfits before you wear them. A really awesome website to look is http://www.polyvore.com/. I love this website, because you can make your outfits online and see if it would work. Check it out!
2. Get inspired by the way people dress. You can check my blog out often, I'll try to have a new post every day or so. Go window shopping instead of lugging a wallet without knowing what to buy. Look what tweens your age are wearing today.
3. An accessorie can change a whole look. Try wearing a couple of beads to add color and texture to your outfit. Sometimes your outfit needs that extra 'punch'.
4. Be both a leader and a follower. Be a leader so you can start the latest trends. Be a follower so you can listen to what's new and how you would change it to your liking.
5. Know what you want and how you are going to wear it. Say you really like these jeans but they don't really match your body type. Don't buy it if your not going to wear it.

IMPORTANT FASHION RULE TO REMEMBER- Be yourself. In what you do and what you wear.
